چکیده

A compact OTA suitable for low-voltage active-RC and MOSFET-C filters is presented. The input stage of the OTA utilises the NMOS pseudo-differential amplifier with PMOS active load. The output stage relies upon the dual-mode feed-forward class-AB technique (based on an inverter-type transconductor) with common-mode rejection capability that incurs no penalty on transconductance/bias-current efficiency. Simulation results of a 0.5-V 100-kHz 5th-order Chebyshev filter based on the proposed OTA in a 0.18 μm CMOS process indicate SNR and SFDR of 68 dB and 63 dB (at 50 kHz + 55 kHz) respectively. The filter consumes total power consumption of 60 μW. key words: operational transconductance amplifier, OTA, active-RC filters, MOSFET-C filters, feedforward

Low Voltage High Gain Linear Class AB CMOS OTA with DC Level Input Stage

This paper presents a low-voltage low-power differential linear transconductor with near rail-to-rail input swing. Based on the current-mirror OTA topology, the proposed transconductor combines the Flipped Voltage Follower (FVF) technique to linearize the transconductor behavior that leads to classAB linear operation and the virtual transistor technique to lower the effective threshold voltages...

Design of 1 V Operating Fully Differential OTA Using NMOS Inverters in 0.18 µm CMOS Technology

Abstract: A 1 V operating fully differential OTA is presented. We designed a 1 V operating fully differential OTA using NMOS inverters in place of traditional differential pair. To obtain high voltage gain, a two stage configuration has been used in which the first stage has feedforward to cancel common-mode signal and the second stage has commonmode feedback. This OTA was fabricated by 0.18 μm...

Design of a Low Power Class AB Two-Stage Op-Amp with Symmetrical Slew Rate

The operational amplifier is perhaps the most useful integrated device in existence today. It is widely used in analogue computers, simulation systems and in a variety of electronic applications such as filtering, buffering and comparison of signal levels. In this paper, the different schemes of power-efficient class AB two-stage op-amps using a current replication branch and adaptive loads wer...

Design a Low Voltage- Low Offset Class AB Op-Amp

A new design approach for three-stage operational amplifiers (op-amps) is proposed. It allows to actually implement a symmetrical push-pull class-AB amplifier output stage for wellestablished three-stage amplifiers using a feedforward transconductance stage. Compared with the conventional design practice, the proposed approach leads to a significant improvement of the symmetry between the posit...
